Are the Cavs a playoff team still?

After 4 finals appearances led by LeBron, Kyrie and Love, the Cavs are in an awkward position as Kyrie requested a trade in 2017 and was traded to Boston, and LeBron left to play with a young Lakers core. But the real question is, can Love, Sexton and the others bring a Cavs roster without LeBron to the playoffs? Some might say no, but the Cavs are in a much better then in 2010-11, the first time LeBron left to join Miami with Wade and Bosh. And they are still in the east, where the 76ers, Celtics, Raptors and Bucks are the teams you really need to worry about. But, the Pistons, Heat and others will be fighting for a postseason spot along with Cleveland. So it’ll be a challenge for the LeBronless Cavs, but they are in a much better situation then LeBron’s first departure in 2011 they still have the likes of Rodney Hood, Cedi Osman, Larry Nance Jr, Tristan Thompson, Jordan Clarkson, and of course Kevin Love. Plus additions of drafting Collin Sexton, free agent acquisitions in David Nwaba and Channing Frye returning, and Isaiah Taylor for depth, this team still seems like a team that can make the playoffs in the East.
